Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Chapter 455: Win Her Back with Strategy

Chapter 455: Win Her Back with Strategy

But at this moment, Logan Shaw did not feel the slightest bit sleepy.

He kept on playing the piano, and in the vast venue, only his music resounded, echoing strangely and melodiously.

He played continuously, faster and faster, his fingers moving rhythmically as if each was flying independently over the keys.

The piano seemed to emit a hint of gunpowder, as Logan’s fingers, after hours of rapid motion, were exhausted and somewhat swollen.

Familiar tunes were played incorrectly multiple times, causing Logan to strike the keys with his fist, resulting in a loud boom.

The warmth in his eyes had vanished, leaving behind deep frustration and reluctance.

He had originally thought he could let go of Evelyn Morgan just as easily as he had of Shannon Dunn.

After all, it seemed like a simple thing, not even causing any heartache.

Yet he found that after leaving the hospital, he couldn’t accept letting go of Evelyn Morgan.

He wanted to fight for one more chance for himself.

After all, Evelyn wasn’t unhappy when she was with him!

Who knows, if she gave him a chance, she might find he was more suitable for her than Caden Lockwood.

What was so great about Caden Lockwood?

How many times had he hurt Evelyn?

"I’ve advised you more than once to seize the opportunity," L’s voice suddenly rang out from nearby. "But you didn’t listen, sticking to your good person act. Now, do you regret it?"

Logan’s dark brows furrowed, clearing his face of unnecessary expressions, and he looked toward the direction of the voice.

In a darker corner near the entrance, L stood there, wearing a Monkey King mask, hiding his face. Only his tall stature was visible.

"Who exactly are you?" Logan stood up, coldly questioning, "What is your relationship with my brother?"

"Who I am doesn’t matter at all." L replied softly, "What matters is what you will do to win Evelyn back."

Win back?

Upon hearing the word, Logan felt even more troubled inside.

He had seen with his own eyes how happy Evelyn was with Caden Lockwood.

He didn’t want to disrupt her perfect life at the moment.

If he dragged her out of her happiness, wouldn’t she enter another sad phase?

"I heard from my brother that you’ve always wanted Evelyn to be happy," Logan lowered his gaze, "Then why try to ruin her happiness now?"

"Is the life she’s living now truly considered happy?" L’s tone was icy.

His voice, more aggressive in person than over the phone.

"Why wouldn’t it be considered?" Logan retorted, "I have already seen this afternoon how much Evelyn cares about Caden Lockwood."

"Evelyn’s interest in Caden Lockwood is nothing more than an adolescent girl’s admiration for a mature man," L replied bluntly. "At her current age, she’s prone to being enamored with a man, but that’s not love. Caden Lockwood used despicable means to make her accustomed to having him in her life."

"Seems like you are very dissatisfied, even resentful, towards Caden Lockwood." Logan sighed, "So, you wanted to use me as a pawn?"

After pausing, Logan continued, "Unfortunately, you’ve found the wrong person! Apart from playing the piano, I’ve never engaged in schemes or the like. I can’t help you."

After speaking, Logan shrugged, the light illuminating his face and amplifying his helplessness.

Yet, behind that helplessness, there burned a fierce impulse.
