Chapter 1837 - 835: Saint Longde (Part 5)
During this process, he introduced the powerful figures behind him.
"Amanda the Indestructible Star, Yudora the Shadow Hunter, Gavin the Giant Slayer, Joe the Light of Destruction, Little Erin the Spirit Blade, Philom the Blue Domain, they are all elite knights of the Divine Fire Church’s Knight Order."
Rod asked in surprise, "I remember you are the First Knight of the Divine Fire Church, ranked ninth strongest in Saint Longde, are you stronger than them?"
Rhein laughed, "Of course, although they have all condensed the Primordial Law, they are all in the first rank. I should have mentioned before, any primordial powerhouse below the first rank is no match for me; to defeat me, one needs at least 6 fragments of the Primordial Law."
Rod looked at Rhein in shock. Previously, he had a vague understanding and didn’t quite grasp Rhein’s significance, but now it seemed that Rhein’s strength far exceeded his imagination.
At the same time, he was quite puzzled.
"Lord Rhein, why is this? You only have 2 Root Origins, yet you can defeat a powerhouse with 5 fragments of the Primordial Law. The primordial powerhouses aren’t even stronger than a peak Half King..."
Rhein explained with a smile, "I am an exception. My spiritual energy is very powerful and extremely unique. It is rumored that I am also a Life of Man, but it has not been confirmed."
Behind him, the unburdened one interjected, "Captain Rhein hasn’t entered the Primordial due to special reasons. Originally, with his strength, he should have entered the Primordial long ago."
Rhein shook his head, "Don’t mention it, Amanda... Lord Rod, what I want to say is that just looking at the quantity of the Primordial Law is not objective enough, especially with monsters. The Black Fog Primordial Body we defeated, though it had only 2 fragments of the Primordial Law, its true power was at least 10 times mine. That we could defeat it was a stroke of luck within luck."
A red-haired, round-faced girl asked in astonishment, "You guys defeated a Black Fog Primordial Body? Captain, you are too amazing!"
Rhein chuckled, "Little Erin, this matter will be discussed later."
In an instant, they arrived at Saint Longde’s Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground.
This was an incredibly grand structure, covering an area at least ten times larger than Trolian’s. The fiery-red semi-circular building resembled burning flames reaching into the sky.
During this process, people continuously gathered around them.
Rhein introduced them one by one; these were all administrative staff of Saint Longde obeying the orders of the Great Shepherd Leader, constantly handing space rings filled with various supplies to Rhein.
"Where is the Great Shepherd Leader?" Rod asked softly.
Rhein smiled, "The Great Shepherd Leader has more important matters and generally does not show up, communicating only spiritually."
Suddenly, an ethereal yet deep voice sounded in Rod’s ear.
"Hello, hunter of countless young wives from Trolian, I am the Great Shepherd Leader of Saint Longde’s Divine Fire Church."
"I apologize that I cannot meet you in person and can only communicate in this manner."
Rod nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. Rhein listed so many titles, and this was the one remembered?
"Uh... Hello, Great Shepherd Leader of Saint Longde. On behalf of the King of Trolian, Qingyu, I send you greetings, wishing the Holy Fire forever protects us."
The Great Shepherd Leader’s voice carried a slight hint of amusement.
"Good day, on behalf of the King of Saint Longde, the Holy Emperor of the Divine Fire Church, I extend sincere greetings to the King of Trolian, Qingyu, may the sun forever shine upon us, and may the radiance one day fill the world."
"Also, please forgive that the Fire Saint Emperor cannot meet you. The support for Trolian’s affairs is entirely in my hands, please be patient. The support team will assemble in a quarter-hour."
Rod was overcome with infinite delight, courteously responding, "Thank you, Great Shepherd Leader."
The Great Shepherd Leader chuckled lightly, his response echoed Rhein’s sentiments.
"Lord Rod, helping you is helping us. When facing such a formidable and terrifying darkness, if humanity cannot unite, destruction is only a matter of time."
Rhein seemed to hear the Great Shepherd Leader’s voice too and remarked with a smile, "There’s nothing untrue in that. Trolian is an incredibly great civilization, having faced numerous catastrophes of destruction and repeatedly emerging from the ruins of annihilation. They possess many things we’ve never seen, and although their strength may not surpass ours now, they have many things to offer us."
He paused, glanced around, and continued.
"This journey to Trolian has been immensely rewarding, even surpassing the gains of Trolian itself."
The expressions of the crowd varied, many found it hard to believe.
From the previous Spiritual Power Matrix, they already had a rough grasp of Trolian’s situation and never expected to gain anything from Trolian.
Rhein said no more, pushing open the final grand door, entering an enormous palace.
Its diameter exceeded at least a hundred thousand yards, with a height of at least ten thousand yards. Inside stood a colossal building which, from its appearance, appeared to be where the Holy Fire resided.
"Alright, let’s wait here, the Fire Saint Emperor is in retreat, and we cannot enter the core Holy Fire area."
As the words fell, Rod vaguely noticed that the immensely powerful gaze shifted from him, returning to the starry sky.
"Is that the gaze of the Fire Saint Emperor?"
Rod wondered.
While feeling an overwhelmingly grand and heat-filled presence.
