Chapter 70 The Power of Water Arrows
Chapter 70 The Power of Water Arrows
Blood Frog Castle was now an empty castle. The knights and butlers had been dealt with by Lin Wei, and the rest of the maids and such had been killed by the perverted Blood Frog Prince himself. A new batch had not yet been selected and sent over. There were still some traces of the fight on the ground, and several broken tables and chairs lay crookedly on the ground.
"Alright, I'll draw you a map. I'll find a way to secretly transport the rest of the gold and silver." The Nightingale Knight nodded, a hint of cunning in his eyes.
Three days later, the sky was overcast, with thick, dark clouds hanging down like a huge gray curtain, as if they might fall at any moment. Lin Wei hurriedly forged a mithril armor, which gleamed with a cold silver light in the dim light, along with a crudely made mithril longsword, its blade rough and showing signs of not being fully polished.
Back at Bloodfrog Fortress, Lin Wei rubbed his slightly sore shoulders and took the time to practice his weapon technique, the Little Heart Water Arrow Technique. He frowned slightly, parted his lips slightly, and whispered, "...Fā- Sò," the sound echoing in the empty room.
Another small water arrow was successfully summoned. The small water arrow appeared in front of us instantly, like a thin blue light.

[Your water element affinity has increased] "Finally, I've broken through to the second tier!" Lin Wei clenched his fist, his eyes gleaming with excitement, his face full of joy. "All these years of hard work have paid off, and my water element affinity has increased? My spellcasting will be faster from now on."
After grinding for so long, he finally got some reward and was overjoyed. "This technique is much more troublesome than the breathing technique. It feels like Zhang Fei threading a needle. You have to be very focused and careful. If you're not careful, you'll fail."
He was standing in the courtyard of Bloodfrog Castle, directing the small water arrows to attack the large statue of Bloodfrog Castle. It was a ten-meter-tall bloodfrog statue, standing in the very center of Bloodfrog Castle, covered with decades-old moss, which was damp and gave off a rotten smell.
"Go, help me pierce it." Lin Wei said to Little Water Arrow, his eyes full of anticipation.
He had never had a chance to test its true power, as he had been busy breaking through to the Great Knight realm all these years. Lin Wei had just activated his breathing technique and was covered in armored aura, yet his punch only managed to create a small dent in the statue, the fist striking the statue with a dull thud.
As soon as he finished speaking, the water arrow appeared in front of the statue, piercing through it like tofu to the other side. Water overflowed from the hole and flowed slowly down the surface of the statue.
"Amazing! Is this water element? The little water arrow is still completely dry on the surface." Lin Wei's eyes widened, his face full of admiration. "Continue."
The small water arrows followed the same method, piercing the statue twice more. Water began to spread throughout the statue's passageway, flowing more and more until it formed thin streams.
"Keep going, keep going!" Lin Wei waved his arms excitedly. "This power is much greater than my Armored Qi!"
The tiny water arrows transformed into streaks of water, relentlessly piercing the statue. The statue visibly became riddled with holes, eventually shattering completely. Water streams clung to it, and fragments fell to the ground, splashing water everywhere.
The small water jet seemed to have run out of energy and slowly dissipated in the air.
"The power is not bad. Although this spell is troublesome to chant, it doesn't require me to expend my physical energy afterward. It's intelligent." Lin Wei stroked his chin and muttered to himself, "I had a hard time even taking down this statue. A single spell solved it. How powerful must that wizard be?"
Lin Wei was quite satisfied; this was just a minor incident. He planned to go and retrieve the magic lamp.
"Huh, what's in this little package?" Lin Wei glanced at the scattered items from the statue as he walked, and a strange package caught his attention. He stopped and squatted down.
"Could it be... Blood Frog Old Dog's secret stash of money?" Lin Wei pondered for a moment, then his eyes widened suddenly, and a look of surprise appeared on his face.
Unfold the leather package, and inside are several small, glowing minerals. Even with Lin Wei's forging expertise, he couldn't tell what these minerals were.
"Huh? A meditation stone?"
Just then, Kardashian's voice came to Lin Wei's ears, "Keep this. It's a universal currency in the wizarding world. I didn't expect the Blood Frog Prince to have such a good thing."
"I see, then this thing should belong to me." Lin Wei's lips curled into a slight smile, but he paused for a moment, then asked, "You can now communicate with me in my ear without me even appearing? Did you see the spell I just used?"
"Hmm, after absorbing a portion of the Blood Frog Prince's brain, I've gained a significant boost. As for your spell, consider it your secret. I didn't see anything, but its power is impressive, and it seems to have a life of its own. This is no ordinary magic." Kardashian's voice slowly faded away.
Lin Wei shook his head helplessly, thinking to himself, "The Rubik's Cube is my biggest secret. There's nothing I can do if Kardashian finds out about the rest. I carry the pebble that Kardashian is parasitizing with me all the time, as long as she doesn't harm me."
"Time is of the essence; I need to move that magic lamp away quickly."
Lin Wei transformed into a blur and darted towards the dungeon, appearing before the magic lamp shortly afterward. The dungeon was filled with a damp, musty smell, and dim lights flickered on the walls.
This magic lamp is very old-fashioned and is still deeply embedded in the wall.
As soon as Lin Wei appeared, the magic lamp flickered, and a remnant soul resembling a ghost appeared before him. The remnant soul was elusive and said with a wry smile, "Sir, let's talk this out. Could you please move me out of here first? I can't breathe."
"Name, origin," Lin Wei said coldly, raising his mithril longsword, the tip pointing directly at the remnant soul. He stared at the remnant soul with a menacing look, his eyes filled with vigilance.
"Sir, my name is Moro, and I truly have no intention of harming you. Besides, you are clad in mithril armor, making it impossible for me to attack you, and I have no more magical power left." The remnant soul waved its hand helplessly, its body trembling slightly.
The remnant soul of the wizard originally intended to plot against Lin Wei, but unexpectedly, the man was very cautious. Not only did he not get close, but he also acquired a set of mithril equipment.
"Origin." Lin Wei continued, his gaze fixed on the remnant soul, never letting his guard down for a moment.
"I really wouldn't harm you. I don't have any extra energy left in my body. I need to absorb the knight's extraordinary power to survive, but I haven't been able to replenish it. My witch power is almost depleted," the remnant soul said, his face showing exhaustion.
"Let him sign a master-servant contract, that way it will be safe," Kardashian's voice came from Lin Wei's ear.
